KVIS recently organized a Basic Life Support training for Grade 10 students, with Air Chief Marshal Subin Chewpreecha and his team from the Headquarters of the Royal Volunteer Center sharing their valuable knowledge and experience.
The session included hands-on practice in basic life-saving skills, including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Students also learned how to assess emergency situations correctly. In addition, there was a session on Mental Health First Aid, which helped students develop skills to take care of themselves and others both physically and emotionally.
This training empowered 72 students with essential life skills, encouraging responsibility, awareness, and a spirit of volunteerism.
