The last day of the 9th KVIS-ISF featured both academic and recreational activities, offering participants diverse experiences ranging from collaborative scientific work to international cultural exchange. The day's activities included Team Building, an Educator Sharing Session, the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation, and a Cultural Performance and Farewell Party.
In the morning, students participated in a team-building activity. Divided into groups of 10, participants engaged in a crystal collection challenge comprising four missions. The collected crystals were essential for completing the main mission, "Mission Impossible: KVIS Express," which required teamwork to operate a simulated train.
The Educator Sharing Session took place before and after lunch. School principals and teachers exchanged ideas on the topic "From Entry Assessment to Student Attributes." Participants shared best practices from their respective institutions and established connections to support future collaborations.
The highlight of the day was the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation. Awards were presented in six categories: the Perseverance Distinction Award, the Creative Insight Award, the Practical Application Award, the Innovation Award, the Sustainability Award, and the Outstanding Research Award. Recipients proudly accepted their honours as participants celebrated their achievements.
The day concluded with the Cultural Performance and Farewell Party. Participants enjoyed performances from all 13 participating countries, showcasing diverse cultural traditions. The session provided entertainment while deepening participants' understanding of different cultures from around the world.
