The 2nd STEM Education Promotion in Secondary School Level Project 2021

    On July 10-11, 2021, Kamnoetvidya Science Academy and PTT Public Company Limited held the 2nd STEM Education Promotion in Secondary School Level Project 2021. The event was conducted through an online platform, with Grade 7-9 students and teachers from 10 schools participating throughout the country.

    The purposes of the project are to foster STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education, and to provide information and knowledge regarding STEM that would lead to the development of STEM research. Besides, it promotes the atmosphere of STEM education and creates cooperation among teachers.

    The activities were conducted under the supervision of the KVIS science teachers, including teacher Natthawin Cho, teacher Chomcheun Siripunkaw, teacher Thanaporn Thanodomdech, and teacher Sakol Warintaraporn, together with Grade 10-11 KVIS students who acted as mentors for each group of student participants during the online activities.

    The project offered a special lecture on project-based learning (by KVIS teachers), STEM experiences sharing, science projects workshop, mini online projects making, online questionnaires developing, results analysis, and projects presentation.

    Aside from the knowledge and experience gained, participants had an opportunity to made new friendship from this fruitful and memorable project, as supported by PTT Public Company Limited for two years continuously.
