The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between GISTDA and KVIS

    On June 21, 2021, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation held the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a geo-space research and development collaboration between the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) and Kamnoetvidya Science Academy.

    Dr. Pakorn Apaphant, Executive Director of GISTDA Executive Board, and Dr. Rachain Kosanlavit, the Principal of Kamnoetvidya Science Academy signed the MoU to collaborate on geo-informatics and space technology research and development. This MoU aims to conduct studies, research and academic development in geo-informatics and space technology as well as to exchange knowledge and personnel to enhance the ability of students and staffs from both organizations.

    Shortly, GISTDA will temporarily use the KVIS observatory (on the rooftop of Building A) and install their telescope for astronomical studies and research.
