“KVIS administrative team offered the Buddhist Lent Candles for the monks”

All KVIS members prepared the Buddhist Lent Candles, intended to preserve Buddhist’s traditions and local beliefs, for the monks on Buddhist Lent Day.

On July 23, 2021, Mrs. Thidarat Toommakorn, KVIS manager, Dr. Phornsant Lertwitthayawiwat, KVIS administrative vice principal, and Dr. Jurunee Tantiwachwuttikul, the advisor of KVIS, on behalf of KVIS students, teachers, and staff, offered a pair of large candles, dozens of drinking water, and light bulbs to the monks at Wat Pa Yup Nai, Rayong.

Buddhist Lent annually starts from the first day of the waning moon in the 8th month to the 15th day of the waxing moon in the 11th month. This year, the first day of the Buddhist Lent fell on July 25, 2021.
