“KVIS students received medals and awards from the 18th TAO.”

    On October 10-15, 2021, the 18th Thailand Astronomy Olympiad (TAO 2021), hosted by Walailak University, took place online. According to a result from the competition, two KVIS students (Grade 12) won medals and awards, as shown below.

    1) Mr. Sapol Maison, who was chosen to be a part of Thai representatives in IOAA 2021, received;

        - A Gold Medal

        - The Highest Total Score Award

        - The Highest Score Award in Theoretical Exam

        - The Highest Score Award in Observational Exam

        - The Special Award of Prof. Emeritus Dr. Rawee Pawilai (Best Solution Award)

    2) Ms. Sasipha Neerapattanagul received a Silver Medal.

    Students who were selected as Thai representatives will participate in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2021. This year, the Republic of Colombia will organize the competition on November 14-21, 2021.
