Team AHiS004 received an Honorable Mention from the Asian Herb in Space Project.

        On November 5, 2021, the Asian Herb in Space (AHiS) project announced the name list of awardees for the reports of conducting a ground control experiment using the basil seeds provided by JAXA to compare with the basil seeds that were grown in the Kibo module on the International Space Station (ISS).

        Team AHiS004, which consisted of 3 members from Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS), Mahidol Wittayanusorn School (MWIT), and Bangkok Christian College, received the Honorable Mention with a 2,000฿ scholarship.

        Mr. Bhuvit Charoenpanich (Grade 10) was a KVIS student who joined team AHiS004 to compete in this project.

        "Asian Herb in Space" has been a collaboration between the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) since 2006.

        In order to examine how orbital microgravity affects plant growth, this program allows students to design 30-day experiments for planting basil seeds on Earth to compare with basil seeds grown on the space station.
