Teams from KVIS won three gold awards in the IYSIE 2021

    On October 25–30, 2021, the Malaysia Young Scientists Organization (MYSO) held the 4th International Young Scientists Innovation Exhibition (IYSIE) 2021 online.

    The three projects from KVIS that won the awards are as follows:

    1) Gold Award for ‘the Antibacterial Coating Film from Thai-Herbal Plants for Food Bioplastic Packaging with Meat Freshness Monitoring Indicator from Ruellia tuberosa L. Flower’ by Ms. Ada Adamczak, Ms. Chitsanucha Jirotkul, and Ms. Pimchanok Lelapraditpong, with Dr. Janjira Maneesan, the project supervisor.

     2) Gold Award for ‘the Effect of Magnetic Field on Frequency Generated from an Active Magnetic Buzzer’ by Mr. Pojchara Ounjaroen, Mr. Settasit Settagaroon, and Mr. Wachirawit Nisapruksachart, with teacher Kriangkamon Sawangsri, the project supervisor.

    3) Gold Award for ‘the Comparison of Cyberbullying Across Various Social Media Platforms on Thai Adolescents’ by Ms. Parajaree Ungudonpakdee, Ms. Sasipha Neerapattanagul, and Mr. Wanat Srifa, with teacher Jittawat Buacharoon and teacher Sineenart Chaiwong, the project supervisors.

    IYSIE is open to participants from primary schools, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions. It intends to provide opportunities for junior scientists to participate in STEM activities and establish Project-Based Learning (PBL) among students.
