Team KVIS won the 1st Diploma from MMT 2021

         On October 30 – November 7, 2021, a team of KVIS students competed in the 4th Team Mathematical Modelling Tournament for High-School Students (MMT), held online by the Advanced Education and Science Center of Moscow State University - Kolmogorov School, together with the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The team members are as follows:

        1) Mr. Natthakan Saeng-nil (Grade 12)

        2) Ms. Parncheewa Toommakorn (Grade 11)

        3) Mr. Kanisorn Sawangsawai (Grade 10)

        4) Mr. Teetuch Prasithwilai (Grade 10)

    Mr. Pat Vatiwutipong, KVIS Mathematics teacher, was the team leader.

    According to the final result, the team of KVIS students won the 1st Diploma and other awards as shown below:

• Team KVIS received the 1st Diploma (team award).

    🏆 Category: Olympiad in Applied Mathematics

• Team KVIS received the 1st Diploma (team award).
• Mr. Natthakan Saeng-nil received the 1st Diploma (individual award).
• Ms. Parncheewa Toommakorn received the Honorable Mention (individual award).

    🏆 Category: Olympiad “Mathematics Around Us.”

• Team KVIS received the 3rd Diploma (team award). 
• Mr. Teetuch Prasithwilai received the 3rd Diploma (individual award).
• Mr. Natthakan Saeng-nil received the Best Solution Award (individual award).

    Team Mathematical Modelling Tournament (MMT) aims to strengthen the network between physical and mathematical (natural science) schools in Russia and abroad. In addition, it also encourages students and teachers to get familiar with the new formats of mathematical competitions.
