Vision

To create opportunities in raising national scientific and technological competitiveness

or “To raise national scientific and technology competitiveness through the creation of opportunities”.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization with the following objectives:

• To support the establishment of the upper secondary level school for gifted and talented students in mathematics and science to develop in studying mathematics and science, as well as the world-class research-oriented higher education institution;
• To support and foster young individuals to be interested in science and technology;
• To support the establishment of potential scientist and researchers to initiate knowledge in the country;
• To create educational opportunities for gifted and talented young individuals in mathematics and science, as well as to create educational opportunities for merit but underprivileged young individuals. One will be provided with scholarships according to their needs;
• To support the establishment of a world-class research-oriented higher education institution;
• To support the establishment of potential human resources in research field to initiate knowledge in Thailand;
• To support the establishment of scientist in the country;
• To support the education, research and technologies which are essential for national development; as well as establish the collaboration in science, technology and innovation among educational institutions, industrial sectors and other agencies;
• To cooperate with other nonprofit organizations in developing national education,
  and provide academic services for society.
• Non-involvement in matters relating to politics.

The PTT Group envisage that a country’s sustainability and wellbeing of its people is dependent on the speed of its advancement in science and technology. With that in mind, the group has established two research-based educational institutions to spearhead the group’s vision of fostering innovative excellence in the field of STEM at an international level. These institutions are committed to producing highly proficient and creative human resources who are keen on innovation and technology, ultimately taking Thailand to the forefront, and raising its competitiveness on par with that of developed countries.
