Delegates from Netherlands and Philippines visit KVIS

KVIS was visited for possible collaborations by delegates from Philippines and Netherlands during January and February, 2017.

Netherlands
             St. Odulphuslyceum was founded in 1899 as a boy gymnasium and presently a secondary school consisting of about 1,320 students. The school is situated in Tilburg in the south of the Netherlands.Delegates from Odulphuslyceum (OL),visited KVIS during 30 January – 3 February 2017. The team included Ms. Delianne Hoekstra MME, Rector and Principal of the school, Ms. Dillen, Vice Principal, Mr. Gijs de Groof, Head of the Teachers Training-Department and Ms. Janssen, Head of the Department of Student Care. The visitors were welcomed by KVIS administrative, teachers and international affairs team. The visitors had an opportunity to join the Royal visit from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Vidyasirimedhi Institute (VISTEC). On 2 February 2017, an MoU between OL and KVIS had been signed by the principals of both schools. 

Philippine Science High Schools (PSHS), Philippines

               The Philippine Science High School (PSHS), established in 1964, is a specialized public high school in Philippines that operates as an agency attached with the Philippine Department of Science and Technology. Currently, PSHS has 12 regional campuses in addition to the main campus. During 22 – 26 January 2017, A team of all directors of eight campuses of PSHS, led by Dr. Reynaldo B. Garnace, director of Eastern Visayas Campus, visited KVIS. The team was given a warm welcome by theadministrative, teachers and international affairs team. They had toured KVIS' infrastructure. They visited Ayutthaya province to know the culture and history of Thailand. An MoU was inked between KVIS and the visitors during this visit.
