KVIS bags first medal for Thailand

KVIS participated in the International Young Physicists Tournament (IYPT) 2017 held during 5 - 12 July 2017 and created history. IYPT is prestigeous international level competition for young talents in Physics. Mattayom 6 students Mr. Teethat Vongvanich, Mr. Pamekitti Pukthalae and Mr. Sarawut Siracosit represented Thailand. The competition was based on the skills in Physics, Emotional quant and English proficiency. KVIS team did their best and bagged bronze medal. It is the first time in the history of Thailand that its contingent winning a medal in this prestigeous competition. The students and Dr. Min Medhisuwakul, Physics teacher who were responsible for this laurel were felicitated and given a warm welcome by fellow students and teachers at the Suvarnabhumi Airport upon their arrival. This proud moment will remain lush green in the pasture of KVIS memories. The students were given appreciation by KVIS family along with Dr. Thongchai Chewprecha, Principal, Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, Founder and Chairman of KVIS and Mr. Tevin Vongvanich, CEO of PTT.
